Anushka's debut as a fashion model came in 2017 in which she was a model in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was picked by Rodricks for a role at his spring-summer 2007 collection. The modeling career of Anushka began during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in various campaigns, such as those for Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. The year 2010 was the year that Anushka Sharma was in the film "Badmash Co with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the movie "Band Baaja Baraat. She played an Punjabi woman of middle class, who has her own wedding company. The movie got positive reviews. Anushka's contract for three films at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
